Structured Development is a Chicago-based real estate development company formed in January 2002 to pursue unique real estate development opportunities. Leveraging its vast experience in the real estate market, Structured Development engages in complex real estate transactions which include a variety of property types including commercial/retail, historic, industrial, and mixed use including residential. Working with partners or for its own account, Structured Development strives to unlock and enhance the value of real estate and to improve the urban and suburban fabric through conscious and innovative real estate development.
ZSD
As principal, Zev Salomon has more than 20 years of experience in residential new-construction development in Chicago, IL. He started ZSD in 2018, and in 2020, followed up with the inception of ZSD Construction, which is now responsible for general contracting services on all ZSD real estate developments. As a principal, he has developed over $200MM in new-construction residential and mixed-use buildings.
Zev has executed condominium conversions, as well as stabilized and completed broken condominium developments during the recession. He has focused his development work on multifamily housing exclusively in Chicago, and brings a passion for design and a mandate for quality execution.
